Established Business

While many businesses have been using information technology for years, we often find that people are not using it as effectively as the want, and sometimes see technology as a hurdle rather than as a tool to help.  This is made worse because technology is continually changing; what was good yesterday is not so good today.

Balancing Technology, Systems and People

There are three parts to the successful use of technology in any business

  1. Technology - Having the right technology, designed to fit for your business
  2. Business processes - Ensuring your business systems align with technology
  3. People – Making sure people know their part of the business and how to use the technology

Too often the three parts are not successfully balanced, resulting in systems and processes that are not as effective as they should be, or even in some cases hinder staff.

Making infrastructure invisible

We specialise in providing and supporting the technology infrastructure for businesses.  Businesses servers and networks should be efficient; they should be very stable and operated with a minimum of costs.  Your network and servers should be ready to use and almost invisible to your users.  Achieving this requires good design and installation with skilled support when needed.  (More)

Helping people be proficient

We work with people and businesses in both the general use of information technology and in a number of more specialised business areas.  This ranges from the everyday creation and use of email, documents and spreadsheets to more specialised CRM and accounts systems.  We aim to help you become proficient at the use of technology for your business and provide external support where it is more effective. Information is the key

In a competitive world we need our staff to add more value.  We need to do more but can not always employ more staff.  Employees need information as part of the business process to be more effective and efficient, and managers need reports to monitor and guide the business as a whole.  This is the main use of technology in any business; the better you use information the more likely you are to succeed.
